The in-game introduction
As an Anthropologist, you have come to Easter Island to study the customs, beliefs and superstitions of its people. In the far distance an erupting volcano can be seen. The natives tell of an idol that can prevent the devastating eruption. You must search the island to find the idol and put it in its resting place before the volcano erupts, destroying the island. Legend has it that if you are successful, you will be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams. Your materials and luggage were lost at sea in a storm. You have arrived with your only possessions: a gold ring and three dollars.
