Around 3,000 years ago, the mighty empire of Glorious Umbuso fell when its titan rulers succumbed to a magical plague that drove them to madness. As the empire collapsed, so too did the Great Web, the network of powerful ley lines the titans had harnessed to supply their cities with arcane energy. The unraveling of this web unleashed uncontrolled magic into the wilderness, warping both the landscape and the creatures that lived there.
