After coming into possession of a stack of old psychological inkblot tests, you discover that the accompanying notes hint at something unnerving - they imply that the ink has power and that the blots hold trapped spirits that feed, somehow, on the viewer's psychic energy...

Shades of Ink is a solo role playing game where you will look at inkblots, note what you see, and then fight to destroy the shades that manifest from your visions. As you accumulate knowledge, the spirits' power also accumulates until it coalesces to form one final encounter.
