There are two different types of Custom Dice for Shadows of Brimstone. Each of these types has multiple possibilities. Each possibility is listed in this accessory entry as a specific Version.
Regular DiceRegular six sided dice with one each of the values 1-6. The 6 on these dice is represented by a symbol that relates to the game, e.g. a Hero Class, an Enemy Type or something else. Each set of these dice comes with 8 dice in the same color and with the same symbol.
The following combinations of symbols and colors exist:
Hero Classes: Bandido (skull with two pistols, green); Conquistador (lion head, red); Gambler (two aces, green); Gunslinger (one gun, green); Indian Scout (two hatchets, blue); Lawman (marshall star, blue); Outlaw (skull with two pistols, gold); Preacher (cross, green); Rancher (two horseshoes, green); Saloon Girl (heart with pistol; blue); Samurai (two katana, blue); Sorceress (flame, green); Viking (wolf, blue)
Enemy Types: Dragon (dragon head, gold); Ninja (shuriken, purple); Oni (Oni head, red)
Other symbols: Brimstone (letters SB, gold); Dark Stone (rock symbol, purple); Enemy (tentacle arm, red); Trederra (lightning bolt, green)
They are packaged in a 16.5×10.7×4 cm, 60 g clamshell.
Peril DiceThe game Shadows of Brimstone also features a six sided die that may be specific to this game. It does not have the regular face values 1-6, but it has the following value distribution: 3-3-4-4-5-6. It is used in cases where the game designer wanted a minimum value to be rolled with the die, but still with a maximum of 6. Note that the two lower values occur twice on these dice.
The core sets all feature one yellow Peril Die. Available at the FFP webshop are Peril Dice in six colors: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, White, Black. You can either buy a set of two Peril Dice in one color, or a set of six Peril Dice in all the different colors.
