Description

From publisher blurb:

A rare arrangement — twin habitable planets in a co-orbit — enticed first early explorers and then colonists. Named Shahrazad and Dunyazad after the sisters of The Thousand and One Nights, the two worlds might share an orbit around their star, but couldn’t be more different, as are their societies. Shahrazad is a lush, pleasant Garden world led by a scholarly class who measure the pursuit of education as the ultimate achievement, but who cling to the stability of tradition. Dunyazad is populated by freewheeling libertines who have thrown off the shackles of what they view as stodgy reactionism and embrace progressivism. Of course, that doesn’t stop the Shahrazadi from continually trying to bring their wayward brethren back to the fold.

Port of Call: Shahrazad and Dunyazad introduces Cepheus Engine and Original Science Fiction Roleplaying Game (OSFRPG) players to these sister planets that are so alike, yet so different. Inside is an overview of how the information would appear in the PCs’ library database, physical planetary and system information, a brief history, a look at their governments, tech levels, and societies, a quick guide to crafting characters that would hail from such a place, and detailed maps of each planet

Port of Call: Shahrazad and Dunyazad. Two halves of the same whole.
