Shareholders

Shareholders is a cooperative 4-player card game. It is played with a deck of standard playing cards and 12 additional tokens(3 'shares' per suit). Players form 2 teams of 2-players, and compete for higher scores by owning shares of more influential suits.

While proceeding with typical trick-taking format, each player has an option of taking a share from one of the suits, instead of playing a card from one's hand. Each suit is 'completed' as soon as all 4 cards with alphabets (J, Q, K, Q) are played during the game, and gives 3, 4, 5 points per share to shareholders by being completed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. The game ends as soon as 3rd completion of a suit is made. The team with higher sum of scores wins.
