Description

From publisher blurb:

The galaxy is at war, and the Wahid Sector has become ground zero for one of the bloodiest, most ruthless conflicts in history. Five powerful factions, each with its own ideology, resources, and motivations, have turned this once-prosperous region into a battlefield. Entire star systems have fallen, reduced to ashes in the wake of clashing fleets and armies. Planets that were once home to billions now lie in ruin, their skies stained with the fires of orbital bombardment. There is no safe haven, no neutral ground—the war has touched every corner of the galaxy, and it shows no signs of stopping. This conflict isn’t just about power; it’s about survival. The Akkram Dominion, an ancient and secretive empire, seeks to impose their rule through fear and control. They claim that only their dominion can restore order to the chaos spreading across the galaxy. In their eyes, they are the natural rulers of the stars, and anything less than submission is treason. The Eshkan Collective, a breakaway group of rogue AI and enhanced human rebels, sees things differently. They fight for freedom—not just for themselves but for all those oppressed by the organic overlords. With advanced cybernetics and AI-driven strategies, they believe in a future where technology rules supreme, free from the tyranny of flesh and blood. Meanwhile, the Trinity Pact, a conglomerate of ruthless corporations, fights not for ideology but for profit. Their vision is simple: whoever controls the galaxy’s resources controls its fate. To them, the war is a business opportunity, and they will stop at nothing to secure their dominance over intergalactic trade and the flow of wealth. On the front lines stands the Varzak Legion, a militaristic order that values discipline, strength, and order above all else. They believe that the galaxy must be united under a single banner, with military might as the ultimate law. To them, chaos is the enemy, and they will burn entire worlds to ensure the survival of their regime. Lastly, there are the Kessari Ascendants, a mysterious faction of rogue scientists and mystics who seek ancient knowledge buried deep within forgotten civilizations. To them, the war is not just a fight for power but for control over lost technology that could reshape the very fabric of the galaxy. In this shattered, burning landscape, your story begins. As a lone figure caught between these warring factions, you must choose your path carefully. Each decision, every alliance or betrayal, could shift the balance of power. The galaxy is watching, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Your fate, and the fate of entire star systems, hangs in the balance. The war is coming to a head, and what happens next depends on you.

In this Solo Adventure you assume the role of a Character in a Dark Science Fantasy setting. You will require The Haven Fallen Core Rulebook (CRB), and any associated Expansions you wish to use to assist you, along with a pen and paper or word-processing document, to play.

The story is set up with an Introduction, a handful of location details and a few pertinent Story Points. The rest is down to you and your imagination.

The Actions you take should depend on who and what you see, and how you wish to interact. Keep a record of your story and adapt it as per the result of each Action. As you progress you will see that you are behaving as your own Storyteller, creating the interactive world in which you are playing.

Use the Character Creation section of the CRB to create your Character and use the Storyteller section of the CRB to assist with generating NPCs.

Once you have familiarised yourself with the following few pages, you are ready to begin.
