From the introduction:
Pretty similar to where you came from, huh? The world of Earth, 2013. Cities are bustling, people are living, business is booming and the world is slowly dying. Not really any different, really. This world, when you look beneath the surface, seems to be darker and really rather grim. People rarely meet happy fates, relationships don’t end well, good people don’t get to lead good lives. But for the nasty guys that take advantage of others, this place might as well be a dirty little heaven all for them.
There’s one girl to be found in this world that this story centred around. She’s not very important in the wider scheme of things. She’ll not be remembered by anyone and she’ll probably die alone, miserable, having failed to achieve even the single goals she set for herself.
