Sidewinder Checkers

Sidewinder Checkers is a Checkers variant for play by two to four players. The game board is a 14x14 square checkerboard with the four corners of nine squares replaced with artwork. Each player has twelve checkers of a different color. Rules of movement are similar to other Checkers variants; the differences in Sidewinder Checkers are mainly to do with its emphasis on partnership play and different variations called "Strike," "Ruler of the Pit," and "Criss Cross," which have to do with where players' pieces may be promoted, and in winning conditions.
