From the introduction:
Ten years have passed since what has become known as "The Judgement Day".
In June 6th, 1944, the history of mankind changed forever.
Many believe that day echoed the horns of the Apocalypse, and that surviving men are trying to bring order back onto Earth, but to no avail, since they don't know that soon they will be crushed once and for all.
The year is 1954 now: ten years ago, while the fiercest of the war was raging, the Dead rose up from the graves, to devour and lay waste on the living.
