Sine Requie: Soviet

The Soviet Union gave place to the Union of the Socialist Soviet Cities (Saius Sovietskich Gorodòv): huge metal cities, isolated from the outside world, in which every activity is regulated by Z.A.R., a central computer, new tyrant of a technocratic totalitarianism, where man is chained in slavery to his job at the assembly line. In these horrible cities life goes on in vain, in a desolate and alienating landscape, where everything that's human is crushed and every freedom is shattered in the name of equality, where dreams and hopes submit to the humming voice of the biomachines, where the flesh itself is no more necessary to the existence, where man, to save his life, chose to die, buried in steel.
