Sketch Artist is a print-and-play drawing game about making terrible wanted posters. It came from our desire to make more drawing games that celebrated poor quality and hasty decisions, and that put less pressure on players to be ‘perfect’ in their task. Players will, one at a time, act as witnesses of strange and ridiculous crimes, with the appearance, accessories, and the crime itself randomized by decks of cards. While describing the fugitive for about a minute, the remaining players will draw wanted posters without being able to look while they draw, ensuring low-quality and silly results. The Witness will then choose the most accurate poster, while the other players gain ‘voting points’ to influence a final selection at the end of the game: Most Wanted. While there is, in a sense, a winner, Sketch Artist is mainly for those who want to have fun making something dumb together.
The print-and-play includes rules and cards, and optional wanted posters to print and laminate.
