Slanguage is a party game in the spirit of Balderdash and Wise and Otherwise. But Slanguage uses international slang as its base.
One player is designated as the Reader each round. That player reads the literal translation of a slang phrase and states the country of origin. The other players write an explanation of the meaning of the slang keeping it secret from other players. They pass their guesses to the reader.
The reader shuffles the written guesses and then reads them to the group without telling who wrote which guess.
Finally, players vote for the explanation that they think is correct. Players score points for getting the correct answer. They also get points if someone else guesses theirs as the correct answer.
