A branch tore open her arm as she pushed herself harder through the darkness. Her bare breasts hurt from bouncing as she ran. They too were being met with the scratching and tearing, low-hanging limbs. She needed to make it back to the cabins. She knew she was being chased but she could not see or hear him behind her. She was covered in sticky blood, but most of it was not her own.
