In Smart City you become a city planner passionate about sustainability. Your goal is to plan the best city keeping in mind the needs of the citizens and ecology.
Each player has a personal city map, where they'll create their city by placing parks and buildings (which you can stack to create blocks). The city is divided in districts, sectors and plots. You have to place your buildings and parks according to each disttrict sustainability goals to get the best configuration possible.
Smart City is played in 3 phases with 14 rounds. In each round you'll flip a card from the action deck. One side will tell you the area of the city (North, South, East or West) where you can place your buildings and resources in that round. The other side will tell you the available buildings and/or resources for building. Place your buildings and parks strategically because some plots have bonuses that you can only get if you place a social centre as your first building in the plot. At the end of each phase you choose 1 district to score and gain its bonus.
At the end of the game, the city planner with the most sustainable design will win the game!
