Socceristic is a very realistic representation of an actual game of football (soccer). Players choose either a club or national team they wish to be and play out a challenge match following the rules laid down for the world's number one sport.The board game creates excitement, brilliant moves, joy and disappointment, great banter and re-invents imagination.
Socceristic is the only football (soccer) board game that features every rule in football, including scoring goals, tackles, fouls, injuries, substitutions, sending-offs, penalties etc. The objecticve is to score more goals than your opponent in the pre-agreed time.
The board is a scaled down pitch divided into squares. Movement of the ball is determined by throwing the dice, the icon in the square the ball lands in, the square in which the ball finishes determines the next action, either via a direction arrow or one of 27 Outcome cards or 27 Referee's Decision cards.
There are injuries to deal with and there are yellow and red cards to contend with.
