This 10-piece game accessory was designed by a long-time gamer (also a Kickstarter backer of SOLAR STORM) and play tested by U.S. fans of the game. The 9.75 x 12.5 inch acrylic frame snugly holds the 9 cards that make up the ship. Overlays drop into the frame to cover each of the 8 Room Cards. Cutouts in the overlays keep each Repair Cube properly aligned. Other cutouts prevent the Diverted Power and Protection tokens from sliding around and hiding vital information printed on each Room Card. The ninth overlay covering the Energy Core card (center) has no cutouts.
The frame is sized to hold unsleeved cards and is compatible with the optional SOLAR STORM neoprene game mat (not required for play). If you prefer to sleeve your cards, the 9 acrylic card overlays can be used without the frame and placed atop sleeved (or unsleeved) Room Cards.
