Solo Leveling: Board Game is a cooperative tactical board game for 1 to 4 players based on the popular webtoon and novel 'Solo Leveling.' Players take on the roles of Hunters from the series, tasked with clearing dungeons inhabited by various bosses. Following in the footsteps of the protagonist Sung Jinwoo, players confront bosses he has previously defeated, who now stand in their way once more.
The game starts with the instant dungeon's Blue Poison Fang Kasaka and progresses through selected dungeons and bosses, culminating in defeating the Architect. Each dungeon features unique mechanics, requiring players to strategize differently each time. Additionally, there are 9 Hunters, including Sung Jinwoo, each with distinct personalities and abilities, ensuring a fresh experience with each playthrough.
Solo Leveling: Board Game includes two game modes: Cooperative Mode and Solo Leveling Mode. In the cooperative mode for 2-4 players, each player selects a Hunter from the original series to form a team and navigate dungeons sequentially. While non-Sung Jinwoo Hunters cannot level up, they can enhance their equipment to prepare for greater threats ahead. The Solo Leveling Mode allows players to experience the game alone, taking on the role of Sung Jinwoo to clear dungeons as in the original story, utilizing the abilities of the Shadow Monarch.
