Sorcerer Subclass: The Ascetic

The Ascetic sorcerer subclass is inspired by the Ascetic class from way back in 1st edition. I also took some inspiration from legendary yogi supernatural abilities. It blends in some of the Monk’s class features such as martial arts.

While most sorcerers owe their abilities to their magical ancestry or exposure to some great power, the ascetic is a normal member of their species who has learned to unlock the latent power within all sapient beings. Through rigorous training at a monastery from a young age or perhaps triggered by some extraordinary experience, the ascetic has taped into this inner magical power in their quest for enlightenment.
