In Space Exodus, every player is the captain of their own ship, traveling space together with the human space fleet. You must upgrade your ship, recruit new crewmembers to man your shields and weapons and ultimately battle the hardest foes to achieve victory.
Your spaceship consists of different rooms, each represented by a single card. The rooms will grant advantages such as income, shields and better weapons, but you will also need to hire crewmembers for them to work.
Each turn, there is an auction for a few randomly drawn cards that will allow the players to gain new crewmembers or/and damaging their opponents in some way. After the auction an encounter card will be drawn, and each player will choose which (if any) enemy to fight. The harder the enemy, the higher the reward!
