Spaceport Launch Pad

This small structure constructed from concrete and steel is one of many small landing pads of a planetary spaceport. This landing and launch pad is constructed for small craft with vertical landing and take off capability. Massive steel blast shields protect the passenger terminal surrounding the launch pad. The interior of the terminal is about as spartan as the ports exterior. Rough concrete dominates the ports interior as it does with its exterior. Only the the equally spartan benches for waiting passengers and the colour coded navigation aids sunk in the floor break up the monotony.
