Spartaco

"Spartaco - La rivolta dei gladiatori" ("Spartacus - The gladiators' revolt") is a historically accurate gamebook set in Italy in 73 b.C.: the reader leads a group of revolting gladiators against the troops of Rome. Duiring the game, an account of surviving and joining people is kept, so that at the end a score can be used to compèare results between different games. A column running along the pages explain all the historical setting of the game.
