IN DISCUSSION OF AGARADOR

My name is Maldrekor D'kvandros, and I am a scholar entrusted with the writing and detailing of this small tome to familiarize you and welcome you to our restructured world of Agarador. An artist has done this rather morbid piece of me, why they decided they wanted me in my old terra firma armor, I do not know. Anyway, there are several core facets of our world that you must understand about our world.

First, all the old peoples are gone. Elves, dwarves, gnomes, and the rest of the original agar people, have long since passed from living memory and become the peoples of Agarador today. Olon claim lineage from orc and yeti, while the axol might tell you they came from dwarves and merfolk. All that remains are us, the new children of agar.

Second, our world is not stable. It is a plaything of the elements, and the magicks of today no longer hum with the false strength and rules of yesteryear. Magic has a cost, a deep and horrific one, and can pull from you just as you pull from it.

Finally, old things walk amongst us, old titans, old powers, old enemies. The legacy of the agar, once buried before the tear, is slowly returning to the world. Be aware of this in your travel and remember that bahar is the center of our new world. I have added notes where I can to provide guidance, and hopefully some sense, where I can. Good luck.
