Spider’s Dance is a simple game with simple mechanisms; all it takes to play is a few pieces of paper, a pen and a bit of imagination. It could be used as a tool for interactive storytelling with a child before bedtime, using the descriptive sentences to get creative energies flowing. But Spider’s Dance is far more than this; it is also a strategic puzzle game, starting deceptively simply, but gradually getting harder as new rules are added into the patterns that must be woven into Mother Spider’s binding web.
