Players take the part of oil investors, buying oilfields, oil companies, and insurance. Drill for oil, administer finds and evaluate what pays, based on the oil price in force.

Roll dice and move that number of spaces around the board. When you pass start, the bank pays income on the fields you own. A high oil price gives a high income and vica verca. A low oil price can turn your income into loss.

The goal of the game is to be the player remaining with any money.
