A partnership trick-taking game designed for the video game Saltsea Chronicles.
Over the course of three hands, each team tries to collect the most points in their score pile. Gameplay is similar to other trick-takers with the following twists:
Each card rank is worth a different amount of points, from 0 to 11.
Hands start with a bidding round, where players each reveal a card, to share information with partner and determine what the Sweeper (trump) suit is.
The winner of the trick gets to collect the other 3 cards, while the loser gets to collect the winning card.
At the end of the hand, if a team collects 100 or more points, they get 0 points, and the opposing team gets a 100 points - hoarding is discouraged!
Each island community in Saltsea Chronicles has developed its own variant, which reflects their ideals.
