Stakes: A Tavern Game for D&D

A new card game to be used in-game! Simple rules designed to allow for tons of roleplay and player creativity, while keeping the actual game short and sweet. Completely playable using a standard deck of cards.

To keep the game fresh, descriptions of variant rules as well as cheating techniques and how to combat them are also included.

In addition to the card game, this booklet contains three new spells designed around cheating in card games. But of course, they can also come in handy in other places.

As with all the rules in this game, decisions are made through agreements between players and their DM. The rules as written are merely there to facilitate storytelling and roleplaying.
