User Summary:
Star Realms is the video game implementation of the eponymous deck building game. Players start a game with an small deck of basic cards. Each card provides either combat or trade power. Combat power is used to attack the opponent's bases trying to whittle down his authority to zero. Trade power is used to buy new cards from a shared random selection. All played, destroyed or bought cards go to the discard pile from where they are reshuffled to produce a new deck when the old one is exhausted.
Advanced cards feature special abilities that circumvent the basic rules as well as ally abilities that make a card more powerful if combined with other cards of the same faction.
The free version includes:
Basic AI skirmish mode.
One 6 mission campaign.
The full version unlocks:
More difficulty settings for AI skirmish mode.
More campaign missions.
Online as well as Pass and Play multiplayer.
