STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION is an abstract game themed to the popular TV/Movie Series.
The aim of the game is to explore the board, starting at the Launch Pad, in order to reach the Docking Ports of five of your colleagues. Movement is determined by the roll of a D6.
When you arrive at a Docking Port, using an exact roll of the dice, you collect a character (Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Commander William Riker, Lieutenant Geordi La Forge, Lieutenant Tasha Yar, Lieutenant Worf) which, if you do not already have it, is placed face up next to you.
Characters may also be "stolen" from other players by landing on the space on which their playing piece is situated.
The winner of the game is the player that is the first to collect his five colleagues and return with them to the Launch Pad.
