Each time the moon glows that beautiful pinkish-red color, the Gyrples (in their various tribes) host Blood Moon ceremonies. These ceremonies are meant to dig deep into their collective mind’s eye, hoping to satisfy the Great Sage who always rewards a good host. Invite a jiving group of Gyrples from neighboring tribes and you’ll be rewarded with a plethora of prime sustenance for the psyche of a Gyrple: Dendryke root. Earn enough of this Dendryke root and the Great Sage may allow the sun to set one final time, ceasing time, and leaving you to bask in the glory that is being the one to set forth the Static Blood Moon—truly any Gyrple’s idea of paradise.
Static Blood Moon is an abstract strategy, dice drafting/dice placement game for 2 players, which plays over three rounds in about 45 minutes. Players take turns drafting dice, placing them on their player boards (creating unique scoring combos), and scoring points. The player with the most points at the end of three rounds wins!
