Stellar impact is a dota-like set in space though it leans more towards the strategy and action genera than RPG. Ships and weapons cant turn on a dime nor do their guns re-aim fast and many abilities are 'skill shot'. Other games that work like this are called naval action simulators and include Navy Field. The strategy aspect includes modifying creeps, a few terrain modifiers, strategic mobility and information concerns. Its free to play even though it can be 'bought' and all gameplay or advantage may not be farm-able.
