On the morning of Tuesday, October 23rd, 1984, Mr. Finster walked into town ahead of his traveling Carnival of Delights for the town's Fall Festival that started Friday, October 26th and ran until Halloween.
Mr. Finster, dressed as a man in turn-of-the-century gentlemanly clothes, spent the whole day Tuesday gathering information about the townsfolk learning their dreams and darkest desires.
And then on Wednesday night in the umbra of a moonless sky, Mr. Finster summoned forth a dark carnival, conjuring out of the pitch black the tents, rides, and other attractions by some foul magic. His Carnival manifested — he seemed to disappear.
It was Wednesday evening, as townsfolk came to the attraction filled with all the things they had hoped and dreamed for, when folk realized something wicked had come to Crestview Hills.
This Double-Page Adventure is specifically a followup to an Adventure Seed that was included in Stranger Stuff: Something Wicked but the book is not needed to use this adventure.
