Before the game, pick a setting and goal, and choose number of Progress Points needed to get to your goal. Once you have gained that many Progress Points, you can forgo drawing a card, and instead, face the final encounter. If you succeed at the final encounter, you win! If you fail, you don't win! And probably die!
