Street Wars NYC

Street Wars NYC is a miniatures game where gangs fight it out on 3’x3’ terrain-boards representing 70’s New York.
Each gang-member has a rank, stats in Funk, Skill, Fight, Toughness and Range and also special abilities making them unique. A weapon makes even a lowly New Blood dangerous in a fight.
Each game is scenario-based and range from straight-up street-fights to a rescue missions. Each game has a certain number of turns that are broken down in four phases; Initiative, Activation, Recovery and End of Turn.
Activation uses Funk dice and can be successful (you can do a full action (move, fight, skill)), unsuccessful (you can move cautiously), or a fumble (you lose the initiative).
Street-fighting can be chaotic as citizens, cops and Event Cards can disrupt even the best laid plan.
In a one-off game you have a set amount of money to recruit gang-members and buy weaponry. In campaigns you fight to gain turf that will give funds that helps you recruit new gang members. They will gain experience after each scenario, helping them advance to higher levels, if they’re not wasted or arrested.
