Description

User Summary

An IBM PC variation on the arcade game Qix. Gameplay involves walling off the screen to trap the colorful rotating "Styx" creature. Unlike the arcade game, diagonal walls can be drawn and the cursor has only one speed. A changing on-screen scoring multiplier impacts the number of points scored when an area of the screen is walled off, designated by the color used to fill in the walled-off area. You complete a level by walling off a substantial portion of the screen without being touched by the Styx. Subsequent levels increase in speed and difficulty, which includes the addition of a second Styx to the playing field.
