A suffercloud begins as a small ball of gas. Typically they are created from a single damned soul, though a Barbas wanting a larger servant may feed additional souls to the newborn creature. The suffercloud then inflicts fear, misery, and death wherever it goes. The creature then feeds on that very fear making itself stronger. Many who fall victim to the suffercloud die, be it from sheer fright, from the toxic nature of the suffercloud's fumes, or from an accident while attempting to escape the Hellspawn. The suffercloud passes over these bodies, absorbing the flesh of their victims to increase their own power.
