Displaced from their home of hundreds of years by aggressive logging, a group of faeries settled in the village of Hammarsvall. Unfortunately for all concerned a Nisse resides there already and considers the place its own domain.
A proxy war has thus erupted between the vaesen for control of the village. Faeries charm Hammarsvall’s boys and encourage their mischievous natures. The Nisse values hard work and meritocracy, inspiring the village girls to demand more then social norms would typically provide.
As the children and vaesen war with each other, strangeness and discord are now impacting the grown ups. If the supernatural dispute is not resolved soon, then the very future of Hammarsvall is in doubt.
