Hello sumo! You are a salaryman (or woman). You loyally go to work for your company every day. You stay overtime when it is required. Even when it isn’t. You appear to others as the model lackey. But in your heart, you are a noble Sumo! You have been training, well...mentally training, to see danger and respond with the heart of a sumo. Others may not see the danger that is everywhere but you do. You know that everything is not always as it seems and that danger lurks in the heart of even the commonplace. Especially there. But, still, you sometimes get distracted by the beauty of things. Such is the complicated heart of a sumo.
This is a quixotic game of pursuiing honor and how you perceive the world. Think Walter Mitty and Don Quioxte. It arose out of my love for Japan and my experiences during my visits. In it, you will become a(much maligned) salaryman with a rich, if possibly misguided, inner life. We are all the salaryman in our own way.
