This manual is intended primarily for the Narrator, but includes valuable information for players as well. You may be wondering "Why for the Narrator?" Well, the reason is simple; the Narrator is the one who needs to keep track of all these rules. Sure the players may remind the Narrator, or may even track much of the work themselves, but it’s up to the Narrator to decide which rules to follow based on their style of play.

The Advanced Options are extensions of the core Sundered Epoch game system presented in Book 1. You can use any or none of the rules in this manual. Much of what is written here assumes that you have already mastered the basic rules of Book 1: Game System.
