First released as an Xbox Live Indie Games title, before being ported onto Windows, Super Amazing Wagon Adventure is a retro-flavoured parody of the Oregon Trail.
Just like in the Oregon Trail, the game depicts the journey to the West in the 19th century and its many hazards, including river crossings and diseases. Unlike the original game, however, the player also encounters rabid squirrels, unicorns, volcanoes, or even crazier stuff.
Levels alternate between dual-stick shooter (when you are on foot) and side-scrolling shoot-em-up (when riding the wagon) sections.
