Description

Sway the Jury is a card game about the courtroom, but not as it is supposed to be. The crime and the evidence don't matter, only how well the opposing lawyers can manipulate the jury.

Gameplay is relatively simple: the Accused is drawn from the top of the character deck and placed on the game table, then Jurors are drawn from the same deck and each player may reject or accept Jurors until 12 are selected and placed in three columns (Guilty, Undecided, and Not Guilty). After this, 5 cards are dealt to each player - these are their Witnesses. Each Witness has a "Bias" that either helps or hurts either player's case. Then, as each player plays their cards onto the table, the cards played "sway" jurors one way or another, convincing them to support either the defense or the prosecution. After all Witness cards have been played, the Jury deliberates and the player with the highest point score based on the Jury's biases wins.
