You are a pig farmer; you adore your pigs. Speaking of their beutiful heft brings tears to your eyes. Sweet cherubs knowing nothin gof the world. The extent of the cruelty man commits is rebuked by their muddy pen. You would die for them - you would absolutely kill for them. Treachery from hungry neighbors, soldiers, and hog thieves is a nightly horror which rattles your mind.
Your pigs need to be driven to town about 4 days south west. The doctor in town carries the vaccine for the swine influenza virus. An early snow has fallen this year and frozen over. Horses have been sent west to the warfrons leaving wagons to be pulled by skinny oxen. Your savings are paying to vaccinate your herd. You have asked your closest friends from the countryside to accompany you, but you will go it alone if need be.
