In Sword & Backpack, casting spells is not simply a matter of saying "I want to cast this spell." Players must be able to memorize and recite their spells aloud. Tricky, eh?
In this first Magic Supplement, you will find 15 beginning spells. As a neophyte sorcerer, you are asked to carefully select three and only three of these spells and affix them into your book. This is the beginning of your spellbook, and it is the sorcerer’s job to commit the short spell verses to memory.
