Sword and Shield is for individual combat in the medieval word of Acquitaine, and deals with realistic combat (jousts, tourneys, trial by combat and actual melee combat) as well as some of the fantastic denizens of Acquitaine.
It is also the character generation booklet for the game series ACQUITAINE. The book dealing with magic and monsters, THE RED BOOK OF NAL, is also in the same series.
