Game ID: GID0312119
Collection Status
Description

Synergy is a four player business strategy board game designed to mirror real life business industries with billions of possible game play scenarios to create a unique experience for every game.

The setup for Synergy involves the players taking on the roles of new venture capitalists, traveling the world to start and develop new businesses in 16 different industries. Every business’s worth and location in Synergy are randomly assigned based on game play, which allows every game to be different. During the game, players will have the chance to acquire businesses, improve their net incomes, and build up the value of their businesses. Each player’s goal during the game is to finish their career with the highest net worth, which factors in the termination value of the player's businesses and the assets they have acquired over their careers.

Unique dice mechanisms are used to determine player movement and the net incomes of the acquired businesses and action cards are used to create significant shifts in the business landscape. Synergy allows a wide range of business strategies to be applied in a entertaining business simulation game. Each game of Synergy requires the player to assess the business landscape laid out during game play and make reactive adjustments to their strategy, just as they might in the real life business world. To add an extra layer of depth, the game is playable with two separate sets of rules - a Standard Version, for most players, and a Pro Version, for more experienced players who want a greater challenge.
