This pack adds a recreation of a single pinball table to Pinball Arcade.
Star Trek: The Next Generation was released in 1993 by Williams and is based on the TV series, including speech from the cast and the famous theme music, along with impressive animation on the dot-matrix display. The player starts at the rank of Ensign, but has the opportunity to be promoted all the way to Captain. The playfield features two Probe Launchers. If the ball is in a launcher, it automatically rotates left and right. The player can then select when to fire the ball across the table with the aim of hitting various targets. The game features eight missions with different objectives to be completed. Completing seven missions unlocks the Final Frontier mission, which is a 6-ball multi-ball game, where the target values are based on the player's previous progress in the game.
This table was funded by a Kickstarter campaign which raised the initial funding to obtain the various licences required.
