Description

User summary:

The TAC 2 (acronym for Totally accurate controller) was released in the mid 80s and was one of the most heavily used joysticks during the 80s era of gaming. It used a standard 9 pin "atari" connector, which made it compatible with all Atari machines, the VIC-20, C64 and Amiga. It was a ditigal 8-way control stick with 1 button.

The TAC-2 was famous for being next to unbreakable. Indeed its design was extremely simplistic, with the joystick simply being a metal pin that connected to metal plates, short-cirtuiting a connection to.

Despite its apparent look of having 2 buttons, they connected to the same button.

It came in black and white.
