Three years of Tainted Grail updates and fixes in one box! This pack brings the older editions of Fall of Avalon, its Stretch Goals and expansions in line with the 2.0 edition offered in this campaign. Journals are available separately.
This Update Pack adds the following updates to the older prints of Fall of Avalon, its Stretch Goals, and expansions.
Fall of Avalon Core Box:
- A clearer selection of difficulties during the campaign setup.
- Standard game mode is slightly less focused on survival and resource grind (modified default Food, Rest and Exhaustion rules; a new Secret card that facilitates re-lighting Menhirs).
- More forgiving Story Mode.
- A fast travel option in the Fall of Avalon campaign that unlocks as you progress through the game
- Retuned first hours of gameplay to offer a more gradual entry for new players (more hints in the first Chapter, an easier way to obtain the Rites for some Characters, wording changes to some starting Events).
- Clarified, re-worded, or slightly rebalanced some Combat, Diplomacy, Event, Random Event, Encounter, Item, Secret cards, and Skills.
- Rulebook now clarifies some frequently asked questions and problematic rule interactions.
- Many small Exploration Journal fixes (in a PDF file).
Stretch Goal Campaigns (Last Knight & Age of Legends):
- Small clarifications to Exposure and Army rules.
- Updated Age of Legends Save Sheet (in 3 copies)
- Clarifications, re-wording, or slight rebalances of some cards.
- Various small Exploration Journal fixes (in a PDF file).
Red Death Add-on Campaign:
- Updated Red Death Save Sheet (in 3 copies)
- Clarifications, re-wording, or slight rebalances of some cards.
- Various small Exploration Journal fixes, including the Camelot location and the ending (in a PDF file).
Monsters of Avalon 2 Add-on:
- A couple of updated cards.
Echoes of the Past Add-on:
- Three copies of three Achievement sheets that contained problematic or unintentionally hard-to-get achievements.
