Krampus the Yule Lord, a goat-legged, long-tongued, lash-wielding miscreant, has the long-standing obligation of punishing the wicked, especially wicked children. Each year, using his magic, monsters, and mischief, he travels from village to village, town to town, punishing the wicked and reluctantly sparing the obedient. On rare occasions, he finds a child so cruel, selfish, and vile, that he snatches them up. Stuffing them into his wicker basket, he drags them back to his realm within the Feywild Winter: The Black Forest. Such children are never seen again and their absence reminds others to live better, more altruistic lives. But this time Krampus has snatched up the wrong children, children with very powerful parents who have hired you and your fellow adventurers to get them back.
