Tales of the City Guard

Game ID: GID0314040

Description

“The sprawling city is magnificent to behold, dazzling visitors with an endless barrage of sights and sounds, and offering everything the heart desires—for a price. But this beautiful facade conceals a deep-rooted rot that spreads throughout the social hierarchy, from despicable nobles and corrupt officials all the way down to ruthless thugs and pickpockets skulking in dingy alleys.

Standing against these evildoers are the diligent men and women of the city guard—law enforcement agents charged with serving the people and upholding the law. This military organization is responsible for investigating crimes and maintaining the peace, as well as defending the walls against invaders.

You are brave members of the city guard, working tirelessly to patrol the streets, apprehend criminals, maintain public order, and protect the citizens of this bustling metropolis.”

Tales of the City Guard is Tricube Tales adaption of the City Guard Chronicles. It is usable as a micro-setting, but it is also a fully self-contained one-page RPG in its own right. The first page includes everything you need to play, while an optional second page expands the adventure generator with examples and twists. The PDF uses layers for ease of printing.

If you're interested in learning more about the City Guard Chronicles, you can join their Discord server here. While their adventures are written for the Savage Worlds system, they don't require much conversion effort to run in Tricube Tales. Conversely, if you're using Savage Worlds, you may still find Tales of the City Guard useful for its adventure generator and example scenarios.
